About Me
Hi, I’m Riley!
I’m a Connecticut-based fashion designer with a deep appreciation for textiles, print, and surface design. My work is driven by an exploration of color, texture, and materiality, often blending unexpected combinations to create pieces that feel both expressive and thoughtfully constructed. I draw inspiration from art, craft, and everyday moments, approaching design as a form of storytelling that invites curiosity and emotional connection.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Fashion Design and a minor in Fibers, specializing in childrenswear and streetwear. Growing up as a military brat gave me an appreciation for diverse perspectives and environments, which continues to influence the way I think about creativity and design. I’m especially interested in how textile manipulation, print development, and material experimentation can transform a garment into something playful, dynamic, and unique.
My background combines both technical skill and creative exploration. I’ve worked closely with delicate embellishment techniques, couture-level detailing, and garment finishing, strengthening my attention to craftsmanship and precision. I’ve also worked in collaborative studio environments where I’ve taught textile-based workshops, managed creative spaces, and contributed to fashion research and visual storytelling projects.
At the core of my work is a desire to create wearable pieces that feel imaginative, tactile, and fun while remaining intentional and functional. Whether I’m developing prints, experimenting with fabrics, or constructing garments by hand, I’m always excited to push creative boundaries and continue refining my voice as a designer.
